Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
• Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience working with students in grades 3-12 preferred
• Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of federal and state special education laws and guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations for special education students
• Review educational records, outside reports, and relevant developmental and medical history
• Administer, score, and interpret psychological, cognitive, adaptive, behavioral, social-emotional, and academic assessments
• Observe classrooms and collect data from teachers and caregivers
• Participate in eligibility determination and IEP meetings
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and administrators
• Maintain compliance with IDEA, FERPA, state regulations, and timelines
• Produce thorough psychological reports and timely documentation
