For more information, visit    Compensation The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $103,600.00 – $172,600.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 15%, based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change. Position Detail The Manager, Regional Human Resources partners with three Vice Presidents and their leadership teams supporting Grainger's field-based sales and onsite service organizations. Serving as a trusted advisor, this role aligns business and people strategies to drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, and business performance.Working closely with business leaders and HR Centers of Excellence, the Manager develops and executes human capital strategies that strengthen organizational capability, build leadership bench strength, and position talent to deliver on business priorities. This role leads key talent processes including performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, and workforce planning while helping leaders navigate change and build high-performing teams.The Manager also partners across HR and Employee Relations to foster an engaging, inclusive, and compliant work environment, addresses complex people matters, identifies opportunities to improve processes and team effectiveness, and supports learning and development initiatives that enable individual and organizational growth. You Will Aligns business objectives with people strategies by integrating HR planning and change management practices to ensure the organization achieves sustainable growth and maintains a high-performing, inclusive culture. Consults with senior leaders to design and implement human capital strategies that strengthen organizational capability and culture, ensuring talent is positioned to deliver on business priorities and long-term competitive advantage. Executes cyclical HR processes—such as performance management, compensation planning, and talent reviews—with precision to create a consistent, engaging experience that builds trust and drives accountability across the workforce. Drives succession planning for senior and critical roles by assessing talent pipelines and implementing development plans, ensuring leadership continuity and readiness for future business challenges. Communicates HR strategies and initiatives clearly and persuasively across all levels to foster alignment, improve engagement, and ensure employees understand how these efforts support organizational success. Identifies process improvement opportunities and collaborates with Centers of Excellence and Shared Services to implement innovative, scalable solutions that enhance efficiency, compliance, and overall business performance. Partners with Employee Relations to apply fair, consistent, and compliant practices in handling employee matters, mitigating risk and reinforcing a positive, productive workplace culture. Coaches leaders through structured change management steps and ensures learning and development programs are prioritized, enabling individuals and teams to adapt effectively and accelerate growth in a dynamic business environment. You Have Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 5+ years in related field Use consulting skills with the ability to link business strategies with people strategies. Ability to act as a liaison with leadership and the ability to guide complex change.
