Caregiver Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a caregiver at Senior Helpers - Greater San Antonio, you will provide essential support and companionship to seniors, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. This role requires a kind heart, patience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care tailored to each clients needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients health and well-being.
- Offer companionship and emotional support through engaging conversation and activities.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social events as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to pass background and reference checks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a genuine desire to help seniors.
- Flexible schedule to meet clients needs.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred.
