About the Role The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You must be comfortable negotiating with suppliers, managing multiple open POs, and partnering cross-functionally to keep production running.


Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers on quality, cost, and delivery

• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to drive cost savings

• Issue POs and manage order confirmations

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, delivery, or pricing issues

• Maintain inventory levels aligned with production schedules

• Partner with production, engineering, quality, and finance

• Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing

• 2+ Years of Production Planning experience

Required Skills

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills

• ERP/MRP system experience

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications (preferred)

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
