As a PennDOT CDL Operator Trainee, you will perform the following duties:Equipment Operation: Operate trucks, loaders, and other roadway maintenance equipment as requiredCDL Compliance: Maintain a valid CDL and complete training and certification for assigned equipmentTraffic Control: Conduct flagging duties to help direct traffic during work activitiesManual Labor Tasks: Use hand tools and motorized tools to complete tasks such as clearing culverts, cutting brush, and repairing barriersRoutine Maintenance: Perform equipment adjustments, basic repairs, and daily inspectionsSafety Awareness: Follow proper safety procedures and report injuries, hazards, and accidents promptlyInterested in learning more?
