Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide occupational and employee health services. This role focuses on the evaluation, treatment, and prevention of work-related injuries and illnesses, as well as the delivery of regulatory and preventive health services to support workplace safety and employee well-being. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and manage work-related injuries and occupational illnesses.

Provide treatment plans, follow-up care, and return-to-work evaluations.

Conduct pre-employment, post-offer, and fitness-for-duty physical examinations.

Perform regulatory exams and services, including DOT physicals, respirator clearance, and OSHA-related evaluations, as applicable.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory studies and imaging.

Educate patients and employers on injury prevention, workplace safety, and health promotion.

Coordinate care with employers, case managers, workers compensation representatives, and specialists.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory, workers compensation, and institutional requirements.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain clinical competency.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.

Current national certification as a PA or NP.

Active state licensure and prescriptive authority.

Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or primary care preferred.

Knowledge of workers compensation processes and occupational health regulations is preferred.

Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.

Working Conditions: Outpatient occupational health clinic setting.

Typically weekday schedule; minimal call or weekend coverage depending on clinic operations.
