Host Union Restaurant
Warmly greet, welcome, and seat guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.
Manage the reservation system, waitlist, and seating flow to balance guest experience with kitchen and server capacity.
Answer phones, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries professionally and promptly.
Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming host stand and entrance area.
Communicate special requests, allergies, and VIP notes to service and culinary teams.
Assist with guest concerns and coordinate with management to ensure quick resolution.
In-Room Dining (IRD)
Accurately take, enter, and confirm in-room dining orders by phone, upselling menu items where appropriate.
Prepare, set up, and deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms with attention to presentation, accuracy, and timing.
Set and stage trays and tables to brand standard, ensuring proper temperature and complete orders.
Retrieve trays and tables from guest rooms and hallways promptly and courteously.
Handle guest payments and charges accurately, following cash-handling and posting procedures.
Maintain knowledge of menus, allergens, and daily offerings to answer guest questions confidently.
Barista Inkwell Caf & Bar
Prepare and serve high-quality espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and specialty beverages to standard.
Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and caf equipment, keeping them clean and calibrated.
Serve pastries, light fare, and grab-and-go items, maintaining freshness and presentation.
Serve beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages responsibly and in compliance with regulations, where applicable.
Operate the POS, process transactions accurately, and handle cash and card payments.
Keep the caf and bar area stocked, clean, and welcoming throughout the shift.
Across All Functions
Deliver consistently warm, attentive, and professional service reflects The Press Hotel brand.
Adhere to all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-service regulations and standards.
Collaborate as a flexible team member, supporting outlets and shifts based on business needs.
Maintain accurate cash handling and follow all financial and reporting procedures.
Essential Functions:
Ability to remain standing for up to 8 hours
Ability to walk the property and grounds frequently
Ability to move up and down stairs regularly
Ability to move quickly based on guest needs
Ability to regularly move and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to use repetitive manual dexterity, such as typing, polishing, using hand tools, and fixing small items
Ability to visibly survey property areas clearly
Ability to view a digital computer/tablet screen for extended period of time, up to 8 hours
Ability to communicate and exchange information effectively, often in a public/group setting
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Ability to complete a satisfactory background check
Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs including midweek and weekend days

Full time hours are available with flexible availability.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.50-$21.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
