Responsibilities Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot systems, including hardware and software Develop and engineer new hardware and software solutions to meet best practices, security, and compliance standards Support the deployment and configuration of hardware and software Maintain documentation of configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures Support and perform system upgrades, patching, and migrations Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship required Active Top Secret security clearance Monday - Friday, onsite in Manassas, VA 10+ years of experience in system administration, engineering, information assurance, or cybersecurity roles (preferably supporting federal IT projects) 5+ years of demonstrable experience in administering a highly available customer-serving infrastructure Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science (or equivalent) Additional years of professional experience and IT certifications may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher compliant certification, e.g., GSEC, Security+ Proven experience with Red Hat Linux Administration Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Be a self-starter who is not afraid to speak up and voice their opinions, as well as a skilled generalist who has the confidence to take on whatever projects are needed Ability to write clear, detailed, and accurate system documentation Significant Experience Supporting federal identity or credentialing systems Cloud (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments Windows Server Administration Red Hat Certificate Services, Red Hat IDM, Red Hat OpenShift Palo Alto Firewalls Active Directory Administration F5 LTM and DNS Cisco switching and routing Splunk Ansible VMware CORTEX XDR NetScout NetApp Storage Administration Keyfactor LDAP PKI / TLS Nessus / Security Center FISMA SharePoint Technical Writing Additional Information Please note this position may require access to sensitive and/or confidential data, it is the responsibility of the employee to acknowledge and adhere to BE’s Ethics and applicable security policies addressing the acceptable use of information system resources.
