Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural evolution and technical direction of an advanced data analytics platform.
• Design and build highly scalable, extensible software systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and coach engineering team members to foster technical skill development and career growth.
• Drive engineering excellence by advocating for robust unit testing, continuous delivery, and clean code refactoring.
• Engage closely with product managers and engineers to integrate generative AI and solve complex processing challenges for time-series streaming data.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, pair programming sessions, and provide constructive feedback during code reviews.

qualifications:
QualificationsMust-HavesBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. Extensive professional backend development experience building and evolving complex, data-intensive software systems. Deep expertise in at least one core programming language, such as Java, Kotlin, Rust, or C++. Proven history of technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and driving design patterns and best practices. Strong capability with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills tailored for a remote, cross-functional environment. Nice-to-HavesFamiliarity with technologies like Node.js, GraphQL, distributed computing, or cloud platforms. Experience delivering software within a continuous integration/continuous delivery model. Familiarity navigating agile software development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
