The Machine Technician Trainee or Machine Tech 1 performs similar duties within a developmental role. Thank youPersonality and Interest Profile -You may enjoy this role if you: Enjoy using mechanical troubleshooting skillsUnderstand the needs of the customers and how a quality part is defined by themAccountable for: Assist in ensuring that the output of our process is a quality partReview part quality with Inspector Packers to learn if part is within acceptable standardsAdjust machine settings as necessary to ensure parts are within acceptable standardsReceive ongoing training in machine set up and operationPerform duties of inspector packer when requiredFollow good manufacturing practices to ensure product safetyComplete production records as neededDesired Qualifications: High school education or equivalentPrevious manufacturing experience Attention to detail Desire for continual learning and personal developmentMechanical aptitudeProficient in EnglishPhysical Demands:Frequent lifting of 15-25 lbs/Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs/More than 50 lbs requires a team liftFrequent repetitious tasks with upper extremitiesProlonged periods of standing on concrete floorAbility to correctly wear/use personal protective equipment including long sleeves as requiredFrequent climbing steps and/or ladders while working on elevated platformsWork involves exposure to high temperaturesWill be required to train on first shift (06:15am-2:30pm) for approximately one month your first month.Plastic Ingenuity is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
