Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced LabVIEW Engineer with strong expertise in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) development and support . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing automated test applications using NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand , along with experience integrating and troubleshooting various test and measurement hardware.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support automated test applications using NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand .
- Design and implement Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions for product testing and validation.
- Integrate and configure test hardware including PXI, cRIO, DAQ systems, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters .
- Develop automated test sequences and test procedures.
- Perform hardware and software integration for automated testing systems.
- Execute validation testing and troubleshoot test system issues.
- Debug LabVIEW applications, test sequences, hardware interfaces, and communication issues.
- Support electronics testing and product validation activities.
- Develop and maintain test documentation and related technical specifications.
- Work with engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve test and system issues.
- Support continuous improvement of automated test processes and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience working with Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
- Strong hands-on experience with NI LabVIEW .
- Strong experience with NI TestStand .
- Experience with PXI and cRIO platforms.
- Experience with DAQ systems and test/measurement equipment.
- Hands-on experience with hardware integration and test automation.
- Experience with validation testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of electronics testing.
- Experience with communication protocols such as:
- TCP/IP
- Serial
- CAN
- SPI
- I2C
- Bluetooth
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following industries is preferred:
- Aerospace
- Manufacturing
- Medical Devices
- Automotive
- Other regulated industries
