Our differentiated battle management and cyber solutions deliver timely, mission-enabling information and provide superior situational awareness and understanding to protect the U.S. and its global allies.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as Principal Production Operations based out of Baltimore, MD.What You’ll Get to Do: Primary manufacturing liaison to program management for development and execution of the manufacturing strategyPrimary product development, manufacturing, test, global supply chain, and mission assurance contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with internal and external customers to discuss operational aspects of technical, cost, and schedule performanceOversee and manage the product development, manufacturing, test, global supply chain, and mission assurance activities and serve as primary liaison to program managementAssess project and technical issues and develops and drives action plans and resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction goals and objectivesDevelop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program managers, engineering, suppliers, line/cell managers, and customersCoordinate and leads the preparation of proposals; prepares and reviews all manufacturing Basis of Estimate justifications, creates master production schedules, and coordinates material planning and production scheduling to include all aspects of producing product through deliveryDrive continuous improvement through mitigating risks and realizing opportunitiesBasic Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Project/Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related experience; Master’s degree with 3 years of work experience in Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related experienceExperience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvementExperience acting as a liaison between multiple disciplines to solve complex problemsCurrent/Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance is requiredU.S. Citizenship requiredPreferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationExperience leading people and/or projects directly or indirectlyExperience communicating with executive leadership (Director or VP level)Experience in earned value management, proposal preparation, and/or integrated master schedule (IMS) developmentExperience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systemWhat We Can Offer You:Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
