Registered Nurse (RN) – NOC Shift, Full-TimeOakwood Gardens Care Center – Fresno, CASalary Range $38-40 BOEJoin Our Nursing Leadership TeamOakwood Gardens Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time NOC shift position. This role is responsible for supervising day-to-day nursing activities, ensuring high-quality resident care, and supporting our nursing team in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.If you are a strong clinical leader who enjoys working in a skilled nursing environment and making a meaningful impact in residents’ lives, we’d love to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & AdministrationSupervise and coordinate the day-to-day nursing activities on the AM shiftAssist the Director of Nursing (DON) and ADON in implementing and maintaining nursing policies and proceduresParticipate in quality assurance, audits, and facility surveys as requestedComplete documentation, medical forms, incident/accident reports, and evaluations in a timely and accurate mannerHelp coordinate nursing services with other departments to support resident-centered careClinical CareProvide direct nursing care as neededAdmit, transfer, and discharge residents in accordance with facility proceduresConduct daily rounds to monitor resident condition and staff performanceReview nurses’ notes, care plans, and treatments to ensure they reflect accurate, resident-focused careCommunicate changes in resident condition to physicians, families, and leadershipStaff Support & SupervisionEnsure adequate RN/LVN/CNA staffing levels on your shiftDevelop and assist with assignments for nursing staffSupport staff development through coaching, mentoring, and participation in in-service trainingHelp create and maintain a calm, positive, and professional environment for residents and staffSafety, Infection Control & CompliancePromote and enforce infection control, safety, and sanitation standardsEnsure appropriate use of PPE and safe handling of equipment and suppliesParticipate in fire safety, disaster drills, and emergency response as neededProtect resident privacy and comply with all HIPAA and facility confidentiality policiesQualificationsCurrent, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of CaliforniaCurrent CPR certificationNursing degree from an accredited college or universityTraining in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred2+ years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferredKnowledge of nursing and medical practices, as well as SNF regulations and guidelinesStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferredEqual Employment Opportunity (EEO)Oakwood Gardens Care Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
