Lawn Care Branch ManagerDayBreak Lawncare is looking for an experienced Lawn Care Branch Manager to lead our Jacksonville-area operation.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the lawn care business, understands how to lead teams, and can balance great client service with strong operational and financial performance.As Branch Manager, you'll have ownership of the local business — including people, operations, customer retention, profitability, and growth. You'll lead Account Managers, Production Managers, and field teams while partnering with senior leadership to ensure the branch delivers high-quality service and strong business results.DayBreak Lawncare is part of HeartLand, a family of leading local landscaping and lawn care companies across the country. You'll have the support and resources of a larger organization while continuing to lead a trusted local brand.What You'll DoLead the BranchLead, coach, and develop field team.Set clear expectations around service, safety, productivity, professionalism, and accountability.Build a strong local culture focused on teamwork, follow-through, and customer service.Develop future leaders and create opportunities for employees to grow.Run the OperationOversee lawn care service delivery across the branch's residential portfolio, with commercial work as needed.Align labor, crews, equipment, schedules, and resources with customer needs and contractual requirements.Use RealGreen and other operational tools to manage scheduling, labor, job costing, and branch performance.Monitor service quality, safety, and operational efficiency and address issues quickly.Manage vendor acquisition, performance quality, and licensing requirements in partnership with Risk & Safety.Own facilities and fleet management programs.Own the Customer & GrowthBuild strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers while partnering with Account Managers to strengthen retention.Maintain visibility into the branch's book of business and proactively address service concerns.Support organic growth through renewals, referrals, enhancement opportunities, and new business.Partner with senior leadership and sales on proposals, pricing, and opportunities that support profitable growth.Manage Financial PerformanceOwn branch budgeting, including preparing annual budget, forecasting, and overall financial performance.Monitor revenue, labor, materials, equipment costs, job profitability, and margins.Use branch and job-costing data to identify performance trends and take action when results are off plan.Maintain strong operating discipline around purchasing, billing, timekeeping, and expense management.What We're Looking For5+ years of lawn care or landscaping management experience required.Strong understanding of lawn care operations, field service delivery, labor management, and customer expectations.Experience leading teams in a multi-crew or multi-account environment.Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, financial performance, and branch or business-unit profitability.Strong customer relationship, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Experience coaching and developing managers and frontline leaders.Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.Experience with Aspire or another field-service/business management platform is a plus.Bachelor's degree preferred.Valid driver's license required.What Success Looks LikeBuild and retain a strong, accountable team.Deliver consistent, high-quality lawn care service.Protect and grow customer relationships.Improve operational efficiency and profitability.Understand the numbers behind the business and act on them.Lead the branch like an owner while collaborating effectively with the broader DayBreak and HeartLand teams.Why DayBreak LawncareDayBreak has built its reputation by delivering dependable lawn care, strong customer relationships, and professional service throughout the Jacksonville area.As part of HeartLand, DayBreak combines the strength and resources of a larger organization with the local leadership, relationships, and market knowledge that make a great lawn care business successful.If you're an experienced lawn care leader who understands the field, knows how to develop people, and wants real ownership of branch performance, we'd like to talk.
