MRI Lead Tech $15,000 Signing Bonus University Hospital | Imaging at Morehouse## Department:University Hospital | Radiology Administration**Scope of Position**The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Division encompasses MRI equipment located in University Hospital, East Hospital, James Cancer Hospital, and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations. The MR Division offers MR imaging services to inpatient, outpatient and ER patient populations, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.**Position Summary**The Lead MR Technologist position performs all duties of the MR Technologist in addition to coordinating daily workflow, daily assignments, patient flow, and provides support to the operations of the department. The lead provides all quality assessment activities for the imaging site in addition to the maintenance of accreditation preparedness for the site. The lead will provide assistance in assessing technologists’ performance for annual merit increases as well as orient new staff to the department. The lead may cover additional Imaging Supervisor/Manager responsibilities as necessary in the Supervisor/Managers’ absence or should a vacancy occur. The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor.**Minimum Qualifications****For Hire:** Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required. Advanced Registry in MRI required. Current Radiography ODH license required. Minimum Associates Degree in relevant field of study required. Minimum 2 years’ experience in modality over which the employee is a lead. **Ongoing:** Maintains registry & licensing status; meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements.
