Description:Travel Speech Therapist position available.Facility has a general bed capacity of 289.Staff includes 2 PRN Speech Therapists and 1 Full-Time Speech Therapist in NICU, with an additional open Full-Time position for inpatient adult therapy.Primary responsibilities include conducting daily speech evaluations and treatments.Must perform Passy Muir valve trials and tolerance trials.Proficient in conducting Modified Barium Swallow studies and cognitive assessments.Responsible for caregiver training and language assessments, both expressive and receptive.Comfortable with interdisciplinary communication with healthcare providers.Candidates should be easily adaptable to a fast-paced environment and able to function independently, as you may be the only speech therapist for adult inpatient majority of the time.Must be comfortable conducting both outpatient and inpatient Modified Barium Swallow studies.Must be capable of treating patients in critical care settings.Must be able to care for patients with tracheostomies.Ability to prioritize patients across multiple units is essential.Availability to work two weekend days per month is required.Dress code includes light gray scrubs. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet Health
