Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Participate in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work alongside surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide vital intraoperative support, including preparation of surgical rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during operations
• Deliver exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, providing wound care, planning for discharge, and educating patients

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience with surgical clinical rotations is highly desirable

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant in the state of Washington
