Shipping Clerk – Baytown, TX

We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping, receiving, and logistics operations in our Baytown, TX facility. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, computer savvy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and communication are essential.

Position Overview:
The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for coordinating outbound shipments, assisting with routing and dispatch activities, and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently. Prior experience in dispatch, routing, or transportation coordination is highly preferred, as this role involves supporting logistics flow and maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading (BOLs), packing lists, and related paperwork
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and internal teams
• Assist with dispatching and routing support as needed
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and tracking information
• Perform data entry and update shipment status in internal systems
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and data organization
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and management to ensure timely deliveries
• Support general warehouse and shipping office operations as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required)
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, dispatch, or routing (preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Dependable and team-oriented work ethic

Compensation & Schedule:

• $23 per hour
• Day shift position
• Exact hours to be determined
