Assists the physician and office staff with performance of patient care activities consistent with the established standards of nursing practice. New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training
Current Medical Assistants who are moving to Advanced Medical Assistant title on the career ladder must complete MA competencies.
Coworkers can be hired as a Certified Medical Assistant if they are a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.
Coworkers must actively maintain their certification, or they will be transitioned to the Medical Assistant title
