Job Summary (Special Education Teacher, Middle School, 2026-27 School Year):
- Full-time position (37.5 hours/week), Monday Friday, 8:00 am 3:30 pm, ASAP through June 3, 2027
- Work with middle school students; caseload is at least 50% resource setting
- Hourly wage: $44 $47/hour (W-2), depending on experience
- Requires bachelor's degree or higher and NC special education certification with adapted curriculum license
- Previous experience in special education settings required (resource, self-contained, 1:1, or with externalizing behaviors)
- Must have experience with IEPs, lesson planning, collaborating with faculty/parents, and a strong desire to connect with students
