Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment to neuro/ortho and medically complex patients in an outpatient setting
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient goals and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal patient outcomes
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
- Active Alaska Physical Therapist License required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Background must be free of Nursys or background check hits per facility policy
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience treating neurological and orthopedic patient populations
- Experience working with medically complex patients in an outpatient environment
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
