You'll be responsible for medication administration, resident monitoring, clinical documentation, communication with physicians and families, and helping ensure that residents receive safe, compassionate, and individualized care.What You'll DoAdminister medications in accordance with physician orders and all applicable federal and state regulations.Assist with the admission of new residents, including assessments and required documentation when assigned.Complete and update resident service plans.Assist with clinical tracking, including areas such as wound care and infection control, under the direction of clinical leadership.Provide guidance regarding health-related concerns within the community.Monitor residents for changes in health or condition.Notify physicians and families of significant changes and complete appropriate documentation.Respond promptly and professionally to resident emergencies.Communicate clearly and effectively with residents, families, physicians, and team members.Work collaboratively with all departments while safely managing multiple responsibilities.Provide education and guidance to residents and staff when appropriate.Attend required training sessions, in-services, and staff meetings.Provide oversight and direction to care staff when assigned.Understand and follow the community's Safety and Disaster Plan.Maintain resident and prospective resident confidentiality.Help maintain a safe working environment through proper safety practices and accident prevention.Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional demeanor with residents, visitors, families, and coworkers.Follow all Morningside Elite Management policies and procedures.Perform additional duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForWe Are Looking For Someone Who:Has a genuine passion for working with seniors.Leads with kindness, patience, and professionalism.Communicates effectively with residents, families, and coworkers.Remains calm and responsive in urgent situations.Is organized, dependable, and attentive to detail.Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a care team.Takes pride in providing safe, compassionate, resident-centered care.QualificationsCurrent Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state required.Bachelor's degree, one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Current CPR certification or willingness to become CPR certified.At Morningside Elite Management, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
