Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse responsible for providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care in an acute care setting. The role involves assessing patients before, during, and after surgical procedures, coordinating their care, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The OR nurse develops and implements individualized care plans, collaborates with surgical teams, and ensures smooth transitions throughout the perioperative process in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, at least 2 years of operating room experience, and familiarity with Epic electronic charting system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, trauma level I or II experience, and experience with community hospital settings or LTACs are preferred.
• Certifications: Valid AHA BLS certification.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours weekly.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in operating room settings, possess applicable certifications, and be able to provide two references obtained within the last year. Candidates must upload valid license and certification documentation. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to the start date. Orientation includes approximately 40 hours of modules, completed during the onboarding process.
