Join a leading manufacturing team in Durham, NC as an Assembler I. Work a reliable day shift (6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday-Friday), with opportunities for overtime to support business needs. Responsibilities


- Assemble mechanical and electrical subassemblies using hand and power tools with precision and care
- Integrate components into finished products, ensuring alignment and functionality
- Read and follow assembly drawings, diagrams, and detailed instructions
- Conduct basic in-process inspections to verify quality and spot defects
- Support testing and assist in troubleshooting assemblies
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace aligned with 5S standards
- Accurately complete production documentation and work tracking
- Communicate material shortages, defects, or issues promptly to leadership
- Participate in continuous improvement and team-based problem solving
- Rotate between tasks and workstations as production demands shift

Required Skills and Experience


- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1-2 years of steady work history with previous employers
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions and assembly drawings
- Basic math skills for simple calculations
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Effective communication with teammates and supervisors
- Willingness to work overtime as needed and adapt to production needs

Preferred Skills


- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience (0-1 year)
- Experience performing basic inspections or testing
- Familiarity with 5S or similar organizational standards
