Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for OB/GYN patients across labor, delivery, and post-partum recovery.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, assess patient conditions, administer medications per protocol, and document findings in the electronic medical record.
- Take over recovery in Labor and Delivery and assist with cesarean births, including newborn assessment and initial stabilization as needed.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia, and neonatal teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care and smooth patient handoffs.
- Support family education, pain management, and discharge planning while maintaining infection control and patient safety standards.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in California
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- OB/GYN/Labor and Delivery experience or demonstrated ability to support L&D recovery and cesarean deliveries
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour shift pattern in a hospital setting
- Nursing degree from an accredited program (ADN or BSN)
- Availability to start on 06/22/2026 and complete the 13-week assignment
