Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer III

Provides high-quality pediatric echocardiograms for interpretation and diagnosis by a Pediatric Cardiologist. Acts as a mentor and resource for students, sonographers, and fellows, supporting their clinical and administrative skill development. Participates actively in Performance Improvement Projects to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency. Key Responsibilities Perform pediatric echocardiograms on patients from newborns to adults. Mentor and support students, staff, and fellows in echocardiography. Deliver patient-centered care considering age, diagnosis, and psychosocial factors. Ensure efficient lab operations and uphold service excellence. Engage in teamwork and ongoing learning. Participate in quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's or Associate's degree from an accredited sonography program (preferred), with 3-5 years of pediatric echocardiography experience. Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS). Current BLS certification. Additional Information: The role requires onsite work; remote options are not available. Candidates must meet immunization requirements for vaccines such as MMR, varicella, and Tdap.
