You will work with the supervision of a skilled craftsman. Most of your responsibilities will revolve around performing manual work such as scaffolding, insulation, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical tasks, and other forms of trade. Knowledge in scaffolding & insulation, pipefitting, welding, and civil work is recommended.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesMoves work pieces, tools and supplies, manually or by hand truckFollows direction closely.Lifts, moves, and holds, work pieces into position as directed.Load and unload materials and equipment.Operate hand and power tools under supervision.Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact soil.Assist with the installation of construction materials, such as pipes, concrete, and steel.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.QualificationsRequired:GED or High School Diploma.Ability to work from ladders and scaffolds.Lift & carry objects and materials of various weights.Preferred:Skilled in math which includes adding and subtracting fractions.Able to pass preliminary and periodic drug testing.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
