Travel Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Grove City, OH

Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Orthopedics, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry care. This contract role requires skilled nursing professionals prepared to work in a dynamic and collaborative hospital environment.


Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift, 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of experience in Medical-Surgical, Orthopedic, or Telemetry nursing
• Proven adaptability to float between different units and care settings as needed
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population with medical, surgical, orthopedic, and telemetry needs
• Complete thorough patient assessments and documentation within established timelines
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately following physician orders and established protocols
• Monitor and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, escalating concerns as needed
• Participate actively in daily patient rounds and care planning
• Delegate appropriately to supporting staff in accordance with policy
• Adapt quickly to changing operational needs, including floating to alternate units or care sites
