Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, an industrial manufacturing environment is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety mindset, a hands-on mechanical troubleshooting approach, and a commitment to quality workmanship which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Oakdale, CA

Pay Range: $38.94hr

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

• Demonstrate behaviors that support company safety procedures with a focus on zero injuries, keeping work areas and equipment clean and safe.
• Follow and comply with Safe Quality Food (SQF), HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and rebuild industrial equipment and machinery to maintain production and maintenance schedules, owning issues until resolved.
• Use SAP to enter notifications, identify parts and work required, and maintain accurate records of work orders, maintenance activities, and continuing needs.

What's Needed?

• Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Must have demonstrable knowledge of SAP.
• Must possess strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to effectively and cooperatively work in a team environment.
• Must have at least two years' experience as a maintenance mechanic.
