Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate care with other disciplines, utilizing critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervision
- Collect data, assess, develop a plan, implement interventions, and evaluate progress toward outcomes
- Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team to maintain a safe and healing environment

Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) or as required by the state of assignment
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or BLS as applicable per policy
- ACLS certification required per department specifics
- At least two years of recent experience in a related field, preferably in an acute care facility
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work in an acute care setting and to manage 3x12-hour day shifts
