Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 06:30am - 05:00pm

Call requirements: Every 5th weekday and every 5th weekend. No option for block schedule.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room will be responsible for circulating complex cardiovascular and thoracic cases, including but not limited to CABG, AVR, MVR, and ECMO cases. The RN will work in a fast-paced environment requiring high levels of technical skill and clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Circulate complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases.
• Assist with procedures involving Aortic Root Replacements, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repairs, and more.
• Monitor patient status and respond swiftly to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure optimal patient safety and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Indiana state nursing license.
• BLS certification.
• 2-4 years of experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room.
• Experience with CABG, AVR, MVR, and other complex cardiovascular procedures is essential.
