Job Overview The Key Account Specialist is a critical position within Clopay National Accounts (Storefronts). Coordinators handle dispatching, following up and quoting with vendors and customers to ensure jobs are managed and completed accurately and timely. Our business strategy is to be the most proactive Door Expert in the industry. We hold every employee to the standard of being proactive, solution‑oriented, and expect this behavior to drive all decisions and actions. Responsibilities Dispatch service calls and follow up with vendors throughout the lifespan of the service call. Submit NTE/Quote requests and recognize and address potential delays with material. Provide a high level of customer service by ensuring customers are always up to date on the latest information available. Handle additional unique steps required for each job as determined by the supervisor. Show creativity and resourcefulness to get accurate and timely information from vendors/suppliers. Offer effective solutions when vendor timelines do not meet our requirements. Enter all relevant information into Navision accurately and on time. Understand customer requirements and expectations. Communicate effectively to provide excellent customer service. Build strong win‑win relationships with other departments within Clopay, including Vendor Relations, Operations, Account Management, Business Development and Accounting. Actively support colleagues and teams toward effective change, encouraging continuous improvement. Primary focus is managing service calls for a variety of products such as Coiling Service Doors, Rolling Grilles, Side‑Folding Gates, Scissor Gates, Sectional Doors, Strip Doors, Passage Doors and Frames, Dock levelers, Locks, Safes, Glass, and Window Film.
