Coordinates daily housekeeping services with nursing department when performing duties in patient areas. Follows proper techniques when mixing chemicals, disinfectants, and solutions used in the work area. The Housekeeper ensures that Infection Control and Universal Precautions are maintained when performing laundry procedures. Responsibilities Perform daily housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary hospital environment. Coordinate with nursing staff when working in patient care areas. Follow proper handling and mixing techniques for chemicals, disinfectants, and cleaning solutions. Maintain Infection Control and Universal Precautions during laundry procedures. Qualifications Education : Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience : Preferred: 2 years in hospitality, healthcare, or cleaning roles.
