Material Handler

We have an outstanding career opportunity position for a Material Handler to join a leading Company located in Pyote, TX .

Salary:37,400.00 - $45,760.00

1st Shift: Mon - Fri 7am - 5pm (on call every other weekend)

The contract Material Handler is responsible for moving and tracking equipment, parts, and tools for the warehouse. This individual will also collaborate with staff to coordinate the shipping and receiving of materials within the facilities. The Material Handler is a key member of the warehouse team and will build and maintain strong relationships with internal members and vendors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinates internal customer requests in a timely manner utilizing the warehouse management system (NetSuite).

• Distributes parts to operators or other field personnel, documents withdrawals, and ensures every transaction is logged accordingly to maintain traceability and cost accuracy.

• Prepares orders by following processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

• Operates various types of warehouse equipment; loads and offload all incoming/outgoing shipments.

• Loads/Blocks/Braces and/or heats shrink product for shipment.

• Tracks orders, resolves shipping issues, schedules deliveries, and maintains strong relationships with suppliers.

• Performs cycle counts and assist with the resolution of inventory issues.

• Ensures quality and accuracy of ordered supplies, products, materials, and equipment.

• Handle defective or warranty covered-covered parts by preparing return shipments, tracking vendor repairs, and ensuring repaired items are returned and restocked promptly.

• Maintain accurate stock levels, set reorder points, and prevent shortages that could delay repairs or production.

• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

• Communicates with supervisor and necessary stakeholders to resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Performs routine housekeeping and maintenance of warehouse.

• Completes all necessary daily tasks/checklists as required by supervisor.

• Complies with all Company policies and procedures; adheres and is compliant to safety and environmental guidelines.

• Submits own timesheets timely and accurately for approval and adheres to schedule as agreed upon on the date of hire, and adjusted work schedules thereafter based on company needs.

• Assist with other duties as assigned based on company needs.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• High School diploma or equivalent such as a GED

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted

• Strong customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills to identify and understand issues.

• Able to effectively communicate with all levels of organization.

• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment where change is a constant.

• Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Professional, tactful, and discrete when handling sensitive and confidential information.

• Must have a valid driver's license and be deemed insurable by the Company's insurance provider throughout employment to be able to drive a Company vehicle.

Desired Qualifications:

• Forklift operation experience/ certification

• 1 year of experience in a warehouse or inventory position

• Knowledge of NetSuite
