Location/Schedule: Washington, DC or Fairfax, VA (Hybrid)

Base Salary: Up to $200k (depending on experience and productivity)

Practice: Insurance Defense – General liability, premises liability, auto, and complex casualty defense for insurers and corporate clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Defend insureds in general liability, premises liability, auto, and complex casualty matters.
• Manage litigation from discovery through depositions, motion practice, and trial.
• Prepare for and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Collaborate with clients and partners on defense strategy and resolution.
• Take meaningful ownership of cases with increasing responsibility and autonomy.

Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):

• JD and active DC or VA bar.
• 3–7+ years of insurance defense or complex civil litigation experience.
