Locums - Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Fort Myers, FL

Availability

Per diem opportunity
12-hour in-house shifts
Night shift availability preferred

Required Licenses & Certifications

Active Florida License - Required
Current APRN National Specialty Certification - Required
Master's Degree in Nursing - Required
Must have been clinically active within the last 12 months

Position Highlights

Work alongside experienced Neonatologists and NNPs
State-of-the-art pediatric facility
High-volume neonatal program
Opportunity in sunny Southwest Florida

Clinical Environment

Approximately 7,000 deliveries annually
70-bed Level III NICU
Level III NICU provides all services except:
- Cardiovascular surgery
- ECMO
Rotations to Level I NICU facility included

Clinical Responsibilities

12-hour in-house NICU coverage
Attendance at high-risk deliveries
Level III NICU patient management
Coverage of Level I delivery service
Mother/baby unit coverage
Normal newborn care responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

Experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner comfortable in high-acuity NICU setting
Strong delivery room and newborn management skills
Team-oriented provider with flexibility for night coverage
Comfortable rotating between Level III and Level I settings
