We are looking for a Project Manager – Capital Projects & Procurement to lead complex capital projects involving industrial equipment, process instrumentation, and engineered systems. This role manages full project lifecycle delivery, procurement strategy, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Project Management

• Lead full project lifecycle: planning, execution, delivery
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, and quality
• Develop project plans and resource strategies

Technical Leadership

• Define technical scope and equipment specifications
• Review engineering documentation for accuracy and constructability
• Oversee instrumentation systems including valves, transmitters, analyzers, and control systems

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Lead RFQs, vendor selection, and bid evaluation
• Negotiate contracts and manage purchase orders
• Track equipment fabrication, delivery, and installation
• Ensure supplier compliance with specifications, quality, and timelines

Stakeholder Management

• Act as primary client-facing project manager
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, and vendor teams
• Lead project meetings, reporting, and performance tracking

Risk & Compliance

• Identify and mitigate risks, delays, and cost impacts
• Ensure compliance with GxP and regulatory standards
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
• 8+ years of capital project management experience
• Experience with procurement and vendor management
• Strong understanding of technical specifications and engineering documentation
• Experience in multi-stakeholder project environments
• ERP systems experience (NetSuite preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated industry experience preferred
• PMP certification preferred
