START DATE: August 2026

COMPENSATION: $67,359 - $80,831, Home Office Grade 6

THE OPPORTUNITY

YES Prep needs a dynamic IT Vendor and Solutions Analyst with a robust set of experiences, to make our mission a reality. As a YES Prep employee, you will achieve jaw-dropping results, create pathways to opportunity for our students, and build transformative relationships.

To put it simply, you will support stakeholders by coordinating a structured vetting process for technology tools by facilitating requirement gathering, vendor engagement, negotiation, and contract processing. You will be collecting stakeholder feedback, helping move solutions efficiently from consideration to selection and ongoing alignment with educational and operational needs.

THE ROLE

When you join the YES Prep team, some of the work and responsibilities will include:

• Providing administrative and coordination support during contract negotiations by partnering with Procurement and Legal teams;
• Assisting with contract administration and vendor management activities, including processing contracts;
• Supporting the procurement of software and equipment, including issuing requisitions and purchase orders;
• Assisting with development of Request for Proposals to support the E-Rate process;
• Collaborating with the Technology Strategy department to research and recommend software solutions that align with district needs;
• Partnering with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements;
• Identifying, analyzing, and sourcing qualified vendors and solution options that align with organizational needs and strategic priorities;
• Planning, coordinating, and leading vendor demonstrations, evaluations, and selection processes;
• Preparing basic financial analyses, including cost comparisons and summary findings, to support vendor evaluation and selection decisions;
• Facilitating and coordinating technical reviews of potential software products in collaboration with internal technical teams;
• Conducting post-implementation project evaluations, including documenting outcomes, lessons learned, and improvement opportunities;
• Performing ongoing product reviews to ensure solutions continue to meet stakeholder needs and to assess whether replacement or changes are required;
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
• Proven ability to manage projects and the ability to learn and utilize technical skills  
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation while paying attention to detail  
• Evidence of producing great work products on quick timelines 
• Ability to lead and follow 
• Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology

THE NICE TO HAVES

• Strong technical background and knowledge of the organization and technology providers
• Strong business background in vendor management, contract management, governance, compliance, service level management, security, financial management, project management, asset management
• 2-3 years of vendor and/or project management experience
• Teaching experience in K-12 or Higher Education  
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and initiatives at once

• Compensation – This position is an exempt, salaried position; offers commensurate with experience.

• Health and Supplemental Insurance – A $0 monthly medical option or a $24 monthly option that includes $50 YES Prep Paid Health Savings Account contribution, in addition to a variety of supplemental benefits including Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, etc. Employees must work 20+ hours a week to be eligible for a full spectrum of benefits, and 10 hours a week minimum for medical benefits.
