Compensation Consulting Senior Associate (Global Employer Solutions)Grant Thornton LLP is seeking a Compensation Consulting Senior Associate to join our growing Compensation practice. In this role, you will support clients across industries by advising on a wide range of compensation programs, with a focus on executive compensation. From day one, you’ll be empowered by formal training opportunities, experiential (on the job) training and access to industry leading expertise to help you develop a broad and deep technical skill set along with increased business acumen to help you achieve more, confidently. Your day-to-day may include:Benchmarking executive compensation, broad-based compensation, sales compensation, and/or physician compensation and developing recommendations based on comprehensive market analysisSupporting the design, implementation, administration of short- and long-term incentive plans, deferred compensation arrangements, and salary structuresConducting compensation diligence and integration support for M&A transactionsExecuting project plans, preparing client deliverables, and supporting marketing effortsWorking closely with project teams to deliver an integrated approach to client servicePerforming other duties as assigned by the partners, managing directors, senior managers, directors and/or managersYou have the following technical skills and qualifications:1-4 years of related work experience in compensation and consultingEducation requirements: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university. Advanced degree or professional designation preferred but not required, e.g., J.D., C.P.A. CCP, PHRDemonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality client service, with a strong client-facing mindset and focus on relationship managementAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software, namely Word, Excel and PowerPointStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to effectively prioritize work assignments based on internal/external deadlines and competing client demandsAble to work independently while also contributing to team environmentAbility to supervise staff and lead engagementsAbility to travel as neededThe base salary range for this position is between $101,200 and $129,030. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton's discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity.
