Job Summary And Qualifications Summary: Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs and are looking for a team member who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. You will communicate with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical condition You will respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment You will act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure You will perform general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts You will participate in performance improvement activities You will act as the patient’s advocate, as circumstances require Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent Current license to practice as a registered Nurse in the State of Nevada Current BLS required ACLS certification required within six (6) months of Hire/Transfer NRP required within three (3) months of Hire/Transfer S.T.A.B.L.E. current certification must be obtained within 6 months of Hire/Transfer AWHONN Fetal monitoring validation Minimum of 1-year recent labor and delivery nursing experience in a comparable unit Proficiency in surgical suite nursing procedures and skills strongly preferred Benefits MountainView Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
