About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience required for all specialties; 3+ years preferred License: Active RN license or compact RN license that complies with NLC guidelines Certifications: Required Must-Have: Experience in Level I trauma centers Experience in large hospitals Trauma experience required Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Step Down care. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting. Experience in team nursing ratios of 1:12 is required. The role is suited for those with previous charge experience and travel experience. Floating between similar units may occur. The RN must be willing to work weekends as needed. All requested time off must be included at the time of submission. No requests for time off will be accommodated after an offer is made. A BSN is not mandatory for this role, an ADN is acceptable. Candidates should have experience with electronic charting systems. Candidates must adhere to infection control policies and procedures. The facility has a focus on providing interdisciplinary support for patient care.
