Alaska Registered Nurse License. Current CPR Certification. Minimum Qualifications Eligibility for licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Alaska; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Direct Entry Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution. Public Health: Knowledge of protecting and improving community health. Decision Making: Makes sound, well‑informed decisions and commits to action. Interpersonal Skills: Shows empathy and respects cultural diversity. Partnering: Builds alliances and collaborates across boundaries. Analysis and Assessment: Uses information technology to collect, analyze, and disseminate data. Equivalent to advanced post‑secondary education in nursing, public health, healthcare services, or related fields; or professional experience in public health, community health, international health, and/or occupational health nursing.
