Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within a high-volume Emergency Department, primarily assigned to boarder patients
• Manage a diverse patient population that may include med/surg, stepdown, and ICU-level boarder patients
• Float to acute care units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, interventions, and documentation in a fast-paced trauma environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similarly sized Level 1 Trauma facility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
• Resume must reflect continuous employment with no unexplained gaps

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a float pool or cross-unit staffing model
• Familiarity with high-acuity boarder patient management across multiple care levels
• Strong adaptability and ability to thrive in an extremely busy emergency environment
