Shifts: 36 hours per week - 12 hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday, 3 call shifts required in a 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Obstetrics

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in Med Surg and OB units
• Utilize EPIC for charting and Sanford One Charge for medication systems
• Function independently in the ER as needed
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3 to 4:1 in Med/Surg units, dependent on census and acuity
• Float between OB and Med Surg as required

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Obstetrics

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience, with 6 months MS and OB experience in the past year
• Ability to function independently and manage up to 5 patients in Med Surg
• Experience with computerized charting and medication systems (EPIC, Pixis)
