Experienced Litigation AssociateAn Austin litigation firm is seeking an experienced litigation associate to join its insurance and business litigation practice. The firm is open to experienced litigators who are ready to take ownership of their work, manage cases, and contribute meaningfully within a small team of capable trial attorneys. This is a full-time opportunity for a litigator who wants to run their own docket, work directly with partners, and handle all phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, administrative proceedings, ADR, trial preparation, and trial.The ideal candidate will have:5+ years of litigation experienceTexas law licenseExperience handling discovery, motions, depositions, hearings, and case strategyStrong writing and communication skillsSound judgment and the ability to manage cases independentlyInterest in insurance litigation, business litigation, and courtroom experienceA desire to grow with a firm that offers meaningful responsibility and partner accessThe firm offers reasonable billing expectations, with minimum billables of 1,800 hours, plus guaranteed billing bonuses for attorneys who exceed that target. Additional bonus and incentive opportunities may be available based on performance, productivity, and contribution to the firm. Benefits include medical coverage, PTO, 401(k), bar dues, CLE, and relocation assistance for out-of-town candidates. This is primarily an in-person position in Austin, Texas, though the firm is remote-capable and flexible when occasional remote work is needed. Compensation is expected to be competitive and based on experience.
