Phlebotomist II Pay Range $21.00/hr - $25.00/hr Job Overview The Phlebotomist II represents the face of the company to patients, drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. Requirement/Must Have Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric. Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. Committed to all Policies & Procedures including dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and guiding principles. Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable. Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations with minimal notice. Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting. Must demonstrate superior customer focus and ability to communicate openly with peers, supervisors, and patients. Responsibilities Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper labeling of specimens. Maintain required records and documentation. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Qualification And Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred, required in certain states. 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment highly preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
