Inventory Control Specialist

Job Full Description

We are actively recruiting for an Inventory Control Specialist at a a biomedical company in company in Ayer. This position is responsible for the receipt, movement, storage and dispositioning of company inventoried materials, equipment and non-stock supplies, performing and maintaining cycle counting activities, and supporting manufacturing and research and development departments with inventory and warehousing requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure inventory is available and ready for use
• Executes and maintains cycle counting activities and ensures inventory accuracy
• Process and fulfill internal material requests
• Coordinate disposal, return, and reallocation of obsolete items in the inventory.
• File claims with manufacturers when defective goods are found in inventory
• Maintain replenishment of all consumable production, warehouse, facilities, and office supplies.
• Operates material handling equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks, etc.)
• Issue, transact and other documentation into ERP system

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• At least 2+ years of experience in inventory management, cycle counting, and other comparable supply chain roles
• At least 2+ years of Forklift Operation experience required
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Previous experience with ERP, WMS, computers and MS Office required

The hours for this position are Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM. The pay is $23-$25/hr depending on experience.
