AWS Cloud Engineer

Location: Minneapolis, MN - onsite

Duration: 6 months

Lead design and implementation of AWS cloud infrastructure

Drive cloud architecture aligned with business requirements

Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for cloud-native solutions

Guide best practices in cloud security and compliance

Support CI/CD and automation strategy across applications

Influence infrastructure decisions for scalability and reliability

Manage containerization and orchestration strategies

Promote cloud adoption and modernization initiatives

Ensure alignment with enterprise cloud governance standards

Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams

Contribute to performance optimization and cost management strategies

Support continuous improvement in cloud operations

Design and deploy AWS infrastructure using best practices

Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation

Configure AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or AWS tools

Monitor system performance using CloudWatch and Trusted Advisor

Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization

Manage containerized applications using Docker, ECS, or EKS

Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues

Implement IAM roles, policies, and security controls

Support backup and disaster recovery strategies

Document cloud architecture and operational procedures

Assist in cloud migration and modernization efforts

Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services

Expertise in EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)

Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline

Proficiency in Python, Bash, or scripting languages

Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS)

Strong understanding of networking (VPC, subnets, security groups)

Knowledge of cloud security and compliance practices

Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Experience in multi-account AWS environments

Good communication and collaboration skills
