OhioMeansJobs | Lake County is accepting resumes for the following position: Position: Quality Inspector Location: Mentor, OH Hours: Full Time Pay: Based On Experience Position ID: 3290 POSITION SUMMARY The Quality Inspector will support the Quality Department by inspecting raw materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality and safety standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of inspection methods, and the ability to accurately document test results and quality metrics. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, specifications, and quality requirements. Inspect incoming raw materials and approve or reject them according to established standards. Record supplier quality performance and document material discrepancies. Select production samples and inspect dimensions, functionality, and overall compliance. Use measuring equipment, testing tools, and automated systems to complete inspection procedures. Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, production data, and quality metrics. Review production processes to verify efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards. Monitor inspection and production equipment to ensure it is safe and properly maintained. Remove or report equipment and materials that do not meet established requirements. Identify defective products and communicate quality concerns to production personnel. Prepare and submit inspection reports to the Quality Manager. []{style="font-si "}
