The role resides in the Enterprise Counterparty Risk Technology (ECRT) team, which develops and supports technology solutions that enable the identification, measurement, aggregation, and reporting of counterparty credit risk across the enterprise.ECRT partners closely with Corporate Risk, Lines of Business, and Enterprise Counterparty Credit Risk teams to deliver strategic technology solutions that help ensure risks are effectively managed within the firm's established risk appetite. This position will work closely with the Enterprise Counterparty Credit Risk Management organization and requires a strong understanding of the capital markets and investment banking domain.The ideal candidate will possess experience with counterparty credit risk, capital markets products, and relevant regulatory frameworks, as well as a solid understanding of clearing operations, prime brokerage, and broader investment banking business processes. In addition to strong technical expertise, the role requires the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and risk-focused technology solutions.In this role, you will:Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environmentsContribute to large scale planning of strategiesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and proceduresResolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goalsLead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staffRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education4+ years of Python development experience4+ years of SQL development and data analysis experience2+ years of Power BI reporting and dashboard development experienceDesired Qualifications:3+ years of experience supporting Counterparty Credit Risk functions within Capital Markets environmentsExperience developing and supporting data visualizations using DremioJava development experienceExperience working in Agile delivery teams, including participation in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stand-upsProficiency with Jira and Confluence for project tracking, collaboration, and documentationExperience utilizing CI/CD tools to automate build, testing, and deployment processesExperience working with Apache Iceberg table formats in modern data platformsExperience leveraging GitHub Copilot to enhance developer productivity and code qualityAbility to utilize Agentic AI tools to design, develop, test, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and data solutionsJob Expectations:Must be able to work onsite at one of the posted locations; hybrid work schedule is availableRelocation assistance is not available for this positionVisa sponsorship is not offered for this positionLocations:300 S Brevard St., Charlotte, NC 28202194 Wood Ave S., Iselin, NJ 08830Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $196,000.00Benefits:Health benefits401(k) PlanPaid time offDisability benefitsLife insurance, critical illness insurance, and accident insuranceParental leaveCritical caregiving leaveDiscounts and savingsCommuter benefitsTuition reimbursementScholarships for dependent childrenAdoption reimbursement
